PASIFIK, THE TPNPB News-- The Supreme Commander of the West Papua Army (WPA), Demianus Magay Yogi alias Rimba Ribut, stated that he would fully support the President of the United Liberation Movement of West Papua (ULMWP) Benny Wenda to attend a diplomatic meeting between European Union countries on Thursday 12 May.
"All West Papuan people must provide prayer support in the context of the European Union state meeting on Serious Human Rights Violations in West Papua and the Green State Vision of the ULMWP interim government with the governments of the European Union, Vanuatu and the Netherlands," said Demianus Yogi to this media, Sunday (1/1) 5/2022).
For this reason, Rimba Ribut urges all West Papuan people who have equal rights to unite and support this agenda.
"All the people who dominate the land of Papua must unite. Humans, earth, water, forests, land, animals, plants and everything in this land have the same rights, as well as we who are in the ranks of the struggle for a Free West Papua need to be freed from all shackles of oppression," he said.
The meeting, said Yogi, will pay attention to the opinions of the indigenous people of West Papua who express support for the European Union countries, ACP, PIF and MSG as the spearhead of resolving the political status of West Papua and realizing the right of self-determination for the Papuan people, based on the United Nations Charter. -Nation, Human Rights Standards and International Principles.”
"On the basis of and taking into account the political history and legal history related to our national status, then we Papuan people are ready to be free," he explained.
