The TPNPB OPM News-- Dalam cuplikan Laporan Pidato  SEKJEN PBB ke President Majelis Umum PBB tentang pelaksanaan Referendum di West Papua New Guinea tahun 1969 terlihat jelas adanya gangguan Politic Rakyat yang menuntut Referendum itu harus dilakukan One Man One Vote sesuai Praktek International maka Indonesia merubah ke Sistem Perwakilan yang ditunjuk oleh  Militer KOSTRAD dibawah Komando Brigjen Ali Murtopo.

Dimana para Wakil itu berjumlah 1025 orang yang terdiri dari 600an Rakyat Indonesia Dan 400an orang Asli Papua (OAP).

Maka Hasil Referendum itu ditolak dan diusulkan ulang tahun 1975 bersamaan dengan Papua.
